At Big Apple Schnauzers, we strive to make the adoption process smooth, transparent, and stress-free whether you’re picking up your new puppy in person or having them safely delivered to your door.
Here’s how our pickup and shipping process works:
Step 1: Reserve Your Puppy with a Down Payment
- To begin the adoption process, we require a $400 non-refundable down payment. This payment:
- Confirms your commitment to adopt
- Secures your selected puppy or place on a waitlist
- Is applied toward the total purchase price of the puppy
- Once your deposit is received, your puppy is officially reserved and we will guide you through the next steps.
Step 2: Final Payment Requirements
If you’re picking up your puppy in person, the remaining balance is due at the time of pickup.
If your puppy is being shipped or delivered, the remaining balance + transportation fee must be paid in full before shipping is scheduled.
All payments must be completed before any travel or pickup arrangements are finalized.
Pickup Options
We welcome families to pick up their puppy in person at our location. Meeting your puppy face-to-face is a great way to bond early, and we’re always happy to give you a tour of our setup and answer any final questions before you bring your new companion home.
Nationwide Delivery & Flight Nanny Service
We also offer safe, secure delivery options for families who cannot pick up in person, including:
- Flight nanny service, where your puppy flies in-cabin with a professional pet handler for added safety and comfort
- Ground transportation with licensed pet transporters
Our team will coordinate all logistics, provide travel updates, and ensure your puppy arrives safely in your arms.
